Celeb Styles of the week...

I will start up loading blogs every week of my favourite celeb styles, their make-up and nails....

So this week I’m starting off with a few of the outfits that were being donned by the celebs at the V festival.

Sarah Harding (Pictured on the left), I love this play suit, It’s from the Idol Collection at New look (£35). This is such a cool playsuit for the summer. What I like about the look is the fact that she has made such a casual look, teaming it with the pink scarf and a pair of winged glasses.

I think the studded knee high boots top the outfit off giving it an edge. This outfit look absolutely gorgeous, she rocked this well.

Another outfit that I adored was worn by Holly Willoughby, this floral maxi dress and red converse combo looked cute. She has kept the outfit simple teaming it with just a few rings and a small satchel bag. Very cute. (Picture shown on the right)

So while trawling the Internet and my weekly fashion magazines I came across a picture of Rochelle Wiseman of the Saturdays wearing what is arguably my favourite trousers of the autumn collection, a pair of Khaki slacks. These trousers are so cool, you can dress them up or you can dress them down to look really casual. Rochelle paired these trousers with multicoloured blue and white scarf, a white bag, brown belt around her waist and a pair of peep toe nude heels. Unfortunately at the time of writing this blog I could seem to find any pictures online. But the picture is in this week’s Look and More magazines. However Dorothy Perkins has a similar pair of the Khaki trousers in store now. They are £28, so not a bad price at all and will definitely be great for wearing coming to the end of summer going into the autumn.

Picture to the left is of the Dorothy Perkins Utility Trousers shown in black. Never the less these trousers look so smart and casual, will be snapping them up in both colours.

Other celebrity styles I have been loving this week come in the form of Kim Kardashian ( Pictured below left), this was taken at the LA Confidential Magazine party. Again very simple outfit, very little accessories. Its a Hanna Marshall dress worn with silver Christian Louboutin shoes.

Pictured here in a ‘who ran it best’ photo with Kristen Cavallari, Kim also teams this little number with a cream clutch bag. As usual her make- up is on point rocking her trademark smokey eyes, with gorgeous eyelashes.

Katy Perry ( Pictured right)was also out and about this week, making three dress changes in one day. Arriving at a New York Hotel she was pictured wearing a floral blue bandeau dress with a peach ballera cardigan and purple Christian Louboutin shoes. She did not wear any accessories with this outfit, which made the outfit look really nice and simple. It was a very lady-like outfit. The second outfit of the day was a red Herve’ Leger dress which she wore arriving at the Late Show., This dress looked really great on her, this was teamed with some red and gold chandelier earrings and a few red bangles and some fierce spiky gold Christian Louboutin Heels, which are amazing I love these shoes. The final outfit for the night which she wore as she was leaving the Late Show was a fluffy pink dress, a typical girly Katy Perry dress. She teamed this with some gorgeous pink lipstick and a pair of nude heels and simple accessories.

The Sugababes ( Pictured left) looked absolutely fabulous in these satin drape dresses, and cherry red lipstick and red nails in Jade and Heidi case, Amelle worked her dress with nude make-up.. All the girls look really gorgeous in these ‘It’ dresses of the moment.

Rihanna( Pictured below) wearing a Proenza Schouler Spring 2010 tank dress with shark fin paillette embroidery at the hem. The dress was teamed with a black waist clincher belt, black gladiator sandals and a pair of sunglasses. And her fiery red hair just set the outfit off a treat. I always love Rihanna style. Her make-up was kept to a minimum, with a hint of brown eye shadow and peachy blush. However she opted for the bright red lips which worked well and did not clash too much with her hair. However she kept her accessories to a minimal only wearing a gold pair of earrings and a black and gold bangle and a ring on both hands. Her nails were painted with a lovely mushroom colour which will be quit a big colour across the catwalks for the autumn/fall collections.

Well there my celeb looks of the week; stay posted for next week’s….

My Blogs...

Just another quick post to let you guys know that I will be putting up loads more blogs... but cause I'm trying to get so much things together at the moment its moving a bit slow... But don't worry, I shall be on point very soon.... Watch this space... X

Barry M Nails...

Hey Lovey’s, today I shall be rambling about Nail Varnishes, to be specific Barry M nail varnishes. I absolutely have fallen in love with their bright and vibrant colours. So far I have managed to collect most of the colours. The price great, £2.95 a bottle screams bargain to me, especially when Superdrug’s or Boots are doing special offers like 2 for £5 or buy one get one free....

My favourite of the collection is Bright Pink (272), it’s very Barbie Pink... I always think Nicki Minaj when I wear it, Lol... I absolutely adore it. This colour is a summer show stopper, whether you’re stepping out in Animal Print or sticking with Black, this colour will have your nails screaming look at me. Block Orange (301) is another one of my favourites, vibrant and bright, one of those colours that someone will instantly notice your nails. Those two colours I think are extremely gorgeous for the Summer Season (even though it seems like the British summer has now become extinct).

But my purchases of the day were Mushroom (310), from looking at it in the bottle this colour can seem a bit of a dull brown, but once you start to apply it to your nails the colour looks fabulous and it would suit most complexions, this colour has been around for a while, as I remember seeing a similar colour on Rihanna at the Echo Awards in Berlin earlier this year. So this colour will also be popping this autumn/Winter after spending the summer with us as well.

I also bought Vivid Purple (161), this is a very bold, shimmery purple colour, I personally would wear it every day, but it may not be to everyone liking for everyday wear, but definitely one for when you’re out and about town with the girls hitting the clubs for the weekends... This will definitely suit any complexion. And if you jazz it up with either diamantes or stick on patterns which I have used on my nails, this particular pattern is from Elegant touch which can be found at Superdrug’s, Boots or most high street chemists. They give your nails an extra edge...

Last but not least is the Gold (289), I love this colour, well I love gold in general, but this colour is nice. In the bottle it looks very shimmery and glittery but It is a very light colour so you have to apply maybe 3 or 4 coats on your nail until the colour becomes noticeable. But again a fantastic colour, definitely a colour for party weekends or special occasions, not an everyday colour as such.

Well that’s all on my purchases of the day, I will keep you all locked about more brands of nail varnishes I use like Avon, Revlon, L’Oreal and a few more. But also M.A.C, I really love this brand but I have not however been able to try out there Nail Polishes, especially with the new Fabulous Feline Collection which just launched on the 27th of August. Its available in England in September... so, when I get my hands on them I shall try a few colours and show on my blog.... hopefully that will be very soon...

Loves ya’ll... Smooches.

Thursday 26 August 2010

So I came across these pair of shoes in Look magazine a few months ago, then recently spotted them on Rochelle Wiseman from the Saturdays in Fabulous magazine( from News of the world newspaper). I absoutely love them, they are heels that will stay classic even when tye-dye has disappeared from the scene.

And the fantastic thing about these shoes is that they are now on sale from £75 and are now £45, so girls if you love heels and you love bargins... get yourself a pair, I made sure I snapped up a pair. These shoes are absoulutely gorgeous.

Another pair I am loving are the Platform Strappy Heels from New Look they are £30 and are Abfab....

I have pictured teaming these shoes with a pair of Jeggings or skinny jeans, or they can go with my favourite item... shorts.

I have not purchased them yet but I have my eye on them, definately going to get these.

Tan Cage Lace-up High Sandal, they are from Miss Selfidge and they again loving these, they are rivalling to maybe be my fav pair of shoes for the summer. At £50 I wouldn't call it a bargin but they are sexy, sexy, sexy so I will definately buy them and not complain at all.

So this is the shoe that I have been having kittens about, seriously loving these shoes even though I know I would probably have to spend my entire monthly salary on them or beg, borrow and steal to get them. Yes Ladies and Gentlemen this is my Lust have shoe.... Bounty Platform, Nicholas Kirkwood for Liberty.... They will cost you £560, but they are beautiful, sexy, colourful and i'm sure if I could afford them right now I will definately snap these up in a heart beat. They are also avaliable in a Black, Blue and White/Pink design... Possibly my favourite shoe of the year. Love it!
